Growing4ward promotes the importance of education, for young men and ladies in underserved communities, by providing them with opportunities for exposure to the benefits of higher education. Every year we provide our Annual Tour of HBCU’s.  This is offered to boys and girls, and takes place during Spring Break.  We leave from New York and Newark, and travel to Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia, to visit the campuses of Morgan State, Howard University, Virginia State, Hampton University, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina A&T University, Spelman College, Morehouse College and Clark-Atlanta University.

We will start the tour off with a send-off Ceremony. During the tour the students will participate in workshops, attend Admissions presentations and have the opportunity for Onsite Admissions.  There will also be an Open Mic on the campus of Howard University, a Field Day on North Carolina A&T’s campus, our formal Dress To Impress night in Atlanta, as well as our annual visit to the Dr. MLK Center in Atlanta where we hold our affirmation circle around the eternal flame.

 The tour will include:
