"If a Community can keep me straight. The least I can do is give back"......growing up without a Mother and Father, Kam was raised by his Grandmother and the Brooklyn Community. It was the "Village Mentality" that he was raised around, where Kam began to develop a personal passion to work with the youth. Kam is currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School in Washington DC. He has an extensive educational background form serving as a Teacher, Dean and Principal working with Children in schools from K-12. In his free time Kam enjoys music, family and most of all Ministry. It’s because of Ministry that Kam is now located in the Maryland, D.C. area. As if dealing with kids as a professional is not enough he also serves as Youth and Yong adult Pastor at Life Change A.M.E Church in Columbia, MD. He also enjoys community work and hold the Roles of Boy Scouts Leader, Rites of Passage Director, and Camp Director. Kam’s educational background includes a B.A in American Studies received from S.U.N.Y Old Westbury, NY; Master of Education from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA, Master of Divinity from Howard University, Washington, DC and currently working to achieve his Leadership Doctoral Degree from Morgan State University, Baltimore MD |
