Manhood Training InitiativeA young man struggling to find and define himself will always seek validation, however this validation among young people can often times come from nonproductive and negative sources. This is why we lose so many of our young men to gangs, and poor choices. Gangs, for many, are fulfilling the function of provision, purpose, support and protection for our young men.
Growing4ward will partner with schools, organizations and programs across the Globe, to facilitate Manhood Training Programs, forums and educational excursions, that focus on mentoring, exposure and empowering boys into future men. Through this initiative we teach young men about their history, potential, and provide them with opportunities to learn essential life skills that will groom them for success in college, their careers and beyond. If you are a school, organization or program that would like to partner with our initiative for the 2017-18 school year, please contact us by emailing [email protected] We are currently hosting Manhood Training in 3 sites in Newark NJ. For current After-School sites please email [email protected]. Our Vision is to independently grow and expand these opportunities throughout the United States, and abroad. We are looking to partner with those sharing our passion, and commitment, for the elevation of our young people. |

During our conference, young men are inspired, engaged in group activities, conduct presentations, tour college campuses and build productive relationships with like-minded young men. The purpose of the Congressional Black Caucus trip is for our young men to have the opportunity and a first -hand look at the role African American men and women play in the decision making process of our government, as well as the challenges that affect the masses of our people locally, nationally and globally. The event is designed to encourage leadership. We are excited to add the Tour of the National Museum African https://nmaahc.si.edu/ The boys will tour The National Museum of African American History on Sunday September 17th.
